Grayscale Launches Investment Trusts for Sui Protocols DeepBook and Walrus
Grayscale, the digital asset investment platform, has introduced two new single-asset trusts targeting Sui blockchain protocols DeepBook and Walrus. The Grayscale DeepBook Trust and Grayscale Walrus Trust provide exclusive exposure to the native tokens DEEP and WAL, respectively.
DeepBook operates as a decentralized central limit order book (CLOB) on Sui, serving as a critical liquidity LAYER for the ecosystem. It underpins decentralized exchanges, wallets, and other applications requiring token trading infrastructure. Walrus, meanwhile, functions as a blockchain-based data storage solution tailored for AI-driven data demands.
The trusts are now available for daily subscription through private placements, exclusively for accredited investors. This MOVE expands institutional access to Sui's decentralized finance, social, and gaming applications.
Grayscale, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, gained prominence through its Bitcoin and ethereum trusts, both later converted into ETFs. The firm continues diversifying its product suite to capture niche opportunities across blockchain verticals.
